I’m Jehanzeb (Jay) Anwer, a full-time independent freelance web designer. I’ve been working in web design, development & online marketing since 2010 and it’s something I’m really passionate about. I specialize in producing responsive, vibrant and user friendly websites that not only look great, but function as a powerful sales tool and extension of your business. I’ve worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes from small startups to enterprise clients spanning across many industries and around the globe.
My services are simple and affordable with no strings attached. I do not charge any hidden or monthly fees. You own your website outright and you’re free to do with it whatever you please.
A little about myself:
I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan where I got my early education from. Later on, after completing high school, I moved to the USA and started my Under Graduate program at the University of Baltimore, however, I had to move back to Pakistan after 1 year because of my ailing mother who was suffering from Sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease that affected her lungs. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2013 and i decided to stay back in Pakistan where I started freelance web designing, something I had been doing since high school as a hobby.
I started freelance web designing on a freelance jobs portal, Elance.com. Having a passion of doing my own business, I decided to stick to freelance web designing and so, it has now been almost a decade that freelance web designing has become a full time business for me.
My Clients:
Because I started as a freelance web designer and that too through an online Freelance Job Portal where people from all walks of life and all sorts of businesses post their jobs, I got to work on a number of freelance web design projects (+500 approximately) that required designing and developing websites for different industries, different purposes and functionality, ranging from simple brochure websites to complex Ecommerce Websites. Later on, I started focusing more on specific websites for particular businesses, mainly for law firms and solo attorneys and remodeling contractors and construction companies. I also started focusing more on Wordpress websites for my freelance web design projects because I found that my clients, especially those who are not very tech savvy, find it easier to edit their websites using the Wordpress Content Editor.
